Intercultural Week 2020 in Tübingen

Starting on Sunday, September 27th and going through Tuesday, October 6th, Germany celebrates the Intercultural Week. This year’s motto is, “Live together, grow together”. The aim of the Intercultural Week is to provide information on the topics of migration and integration and to offer intercultural experiences for people to take part in. According to Cornelia Weber from the Diakonisches Werk Tübingen: “Encounters lead to the reduction of fear and turn strangers into valued neighbors, friends and acquaintances.”

The Intercultural Week has been taking place in Tübingen for 45 years. There are already numerous events from September 24th and going to October 24th, such as workshops for cooking, dancing and singing, events for children, as well as readings and exhibitions on various topics. The events are spread all over Tübingen. Some of the events cost money and registration is necessary.
