Schools remain closed for now / Possible special regulations in Baden-Württemberg
In Germany, schools and day care centers are supposed to stay closed until February 14th. This was decided by Chancellor Angela Merkel and the Governors of the States after long discussions. This means: At all schools, from primary schools, to secondary schools and to vocational schools, there will continue to be no in-person class, but remote teaching. The Rottenburger Tafel is closied until January 31, according to its homepage. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it cannot expose its employees to “such a high risk of infection”. Many people from the team belong to at-risk groups. The Leins bakery previously donated unsold baked goods to the Tafel. Currently, walkers should not go into the forest or should at least stay on the path and avoid closed areas. This was asked by the forestry office of the district of Tübingen. Die Tübinger Initiative „Plan.B: Bleiberecht statt Abschiebung!“ führt auch 2021 alle 14 Tage in Mössingen eine Einzelfallberatung für Geflüchtete durch. Dabei geht es um Beratung und Unterstützung im Asylverfahren und bei Klagen vor dem Verwaltungsgericht sowie um die rechtliche Klärung für eine Bleibeperspektive in Deutschland. Außerdem sind die ausländerrechtlichen Mitwirkungspflichten bei Identitätsklärung und Passpflicht wichtiger Gegenstand der Beratung sowie Themen wie Bewerbung, Arbeitssuche, Arbeitsverträge und Arbeitsrecht.
