Naturalization tests offered again
Women and men who want to get naturalized into Germany have to take a test. The Tübingen Volkshochschule is offering dates for this test again. There are three opportunities in March: on the 23rd, 24th and 25th. Until July, one test per month follows. The test takes a maximum of one hour. The naturalization test examines the knowledge of the legal and social order as well as the living conditions in Germany. The participants get 33 questions, of which they have to answer 17 correctly. Beschäftigungsduldung bietet Perspektive für Aufenthalt
Seit dem 1. Januar 2020 ist es unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen möglich, eine Duldung zum Zweck der Beschäftigung zu erhalten. Damit soll langjährig Beschäftigten ein Schutz vor Abschiebung und eine langfristige aufenthaltsrechtliche Perspektive geboten werden. Allerdings sind daran hohe Bedingungen geknüpft wie zum Beispiel die Klärung der Identität und eine sozialversicherungspflichtige Beschäftigung in Vollzeit seit mindestens 18 Monaten. Außerdem muss seit mindestens 12 Monaten der eigene Lebensunterhalt gesichert sein. Mit der so genannten Beschäftigungsduldung wird eine Chance für geduldete Personen möglich, die bisher nicht als Asylbewerber anerkannt wurden.
