The yellow vaccination booklet as proof of Corona vaccination is no longer valid in Baden-Württemberg. As of Wednesday, Dec. 1, only the QR code will be accepted in 2G areas to which only recovered or vaccinated people have access – either as a printout on paper or in an app on a smartphone. The state wrote in a press release. The QR code can be found on the digital vaccination certificate. Vaccinated people get this certificate directly at the time of vaccination. Or they can also get the code with the yellow vaccination certificate in a pharmacy. The new immunization card can also be ordered in pharmacies. However, this service costs at least 9.90 euros. The vaccination certificate with a QR code is intended to ensure “that vaccination passport forgers have a harder time in the future,” says Health Minister Manfred Lucha.
