No alcohol may be consumed outdoors in the city center of Tübingen at the turn of the year. This regulation applies from 6 a.m. on Friday, December 31st, until 6 a.m. on Saturday, January 1st. This is announced by the city. This is to prevent the Corona virus from spreading further. Restaurants are not allowed to sell alcohol in to-go cups. In addition, no alcoholic beverages brought to the marketplace and Holzmarkt may be consumed during this time. Alcohol may only be consumed inside restaurants and in their outdoor areas.
