No fireworks in the city center of Tübingen

A strict ban on fireworks is in force in Tübingen’s historic center at the turn of the year. This is to protect the historic city center. This was announced by the city of Tübingen on its website. The ban also applies in Calwerstraße in the area of the clinics. On December 31st and January 1st, the ban covers the areas of Belthlestraße, Schlossbergstaffel, Haeringstaffel, Schänzle, Alleenbrücke and Derendinger Allee in the west, Kelternstraße and Am Stadtgraben in the north, Wilhelmstraße, Am Lustnauer Tor, Mühlstraße, Eberhardsbrücke and Karlstraße in the east and Uhlandstraße in the south. It is also forbidden to ignite rockets and firecrackers on the Platanenallee. On New Year’s Eve, police and city officials will monitor the fireworks ban. Those who do not comply can be fined.
