Due to the current drought, the City of Tübingen asks that you refrain from using open fires outdoors. Barbecue areas in the city are currently not allowed to be used. This is indicated by prohibition signs. The danger of forest fires is very high. Thus, the fireplaces near the forest have already been closed by the district of Tübingen. The city administration also urgently requests all citizens to refrain from barbecuing with open fires in their own gardens or on their balconies.
