French Film Days in Tübingen

Around 100 films from the French-speaking world can be seen at the French Film Festival in Tübingen and Stuttgart until November 9. The 39th edition of the festival is once again the largest showcase of Francophone cinema in the German-speaking world. The annual event in 2022 will not only take place in cinemas in Tübingen and Stuttgart, but also online: Some of the films can be seen online from November 10 to 17. Most of the films will be shown in French, with a few in English. But there are always German or English subtitles.
The motto of the current edition of the festival is “Heroines”—it is about everyday heroes, superheroes or even anti-heroes. The country focus this year is Belgium, but French-speaking Africa will also be prominently represented The festival includes, among other things, a competition for the best feature-length and short film Numerous international guests will attend the event to discuss their work and attend screenings.
