Companies are urgently looking for young talent
In mid-July, more than 600 apprenticeships were still unfilled in the area of the Reutlingen Chamber of Crafts. „Our companies are urgently looking for young talent“, says Christiane Nowottny from the Chamber of Skilled Crafts. The skilled crafts sector offers „excellent career opportunities and a secure professional future“, said the Managing Director of the Reutlingen Chamber of Skilled Crafts.
Apprenticeship vacancies for young men and women can be found in traditional areas such as carpentry, baking and painting. However, trainees are also being sought in areas such as plant mechanics for sanitary, heating and air conditioning technology or electronics technicians for energy and building technology.
