PatientInnen mit einer leichten Erkältung können sich schon bisher per Telefon krankschreiben lassen. Diese Möglichkeit wird wegen der anhaltenden Corona-Infektionsgefahr um zwei Monate bis 31. Mai verlängert. Das beschloss der gemeinsame Ausschuss von Ärzten, Krankenkassen und Kliniken, wie er jetzt mitteilte. Niedergelassene Ärzte müssen sich persönlich durch eine eingehende telefonische Befragung vom Zustand der Patienten überzeugen. Die Krankschreibung am Telefon bei leichten Erkrankungen der oberen Atemwege ist bis zu sieben Tage möglich. Sie kann telefonisch um weitere sieben Tage verlängert werden.
