The German Chancellor and the heads of government of the German states agreed on a further tightening of existing Corona regulations during a conference call on December 13th, 2020. From Wednesday, December 16th, 2020, to January 10th, 2021, most retailers will have to close. Stores that sell groceries are exempt, as are drugstores and pharmacies. Also exempt are gas stations, garages for motor vehicles or bicycles, banks or post offices. Christmas trees may also be sold. As of December 16th, hairdressers and similar service businesses, such as tanning salons, must also close. However, medically necessary treatments will remain permitted. For Baden-Württemberg, the imposed curfew continues to apply (search bar: 121101).
