Corona: Stricter regulations starting January 11th

Stricter lockdown regulations apply in Baden-Württemberg, starting January 11th. Then, only people who live in a closed living unit together can meet in public and private places. Only one other person, who lives in a different living unit, can join them. Children from both living units continue to not be counted in this number, if they are 14 years old or younger. If two households care for children together, they can continue to do so, however, they have to be “fixed”. When someone leaves their apartment, they have to have a good reason to do so. This is especially strict between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Then, you can leave the apartment when you have to go to work. People who go to a religious gathering or are walking their pet can then also go outside. Additionally, you can meet with one other person not belonging to your household during the day, to, for example, exercise outside. You can also go grocery shopping or use one of the few services that are still available. However, only shops that sell products for daily usage continue to be open. These regulations are written in the newest decree by the State Government of Baden-Württemberg, about the infection protection regulations against the spread of COVID-19 (Corona-Verordnung – CoronaVO). It is in effect from January 11th, 2021, and currently applies until January 31st, 2021.

The state summarized the current regulations on three pages online, as of now only available in German:
