Vaccinating against the corona-virus will start in the new year in the district of Tübingen. The vaccination in the vaccination centers is free and voluntary. The order, in which the different groups of people will get vaccinated, has been known since Friday. In first place are people over 80 years of age and residents in care homes. The staff in these homes and from mobile nursing services, as well as employees in medical facilities with a great risk to themselves and their patients also have the highest priority. Additionally, a high vaccination priority have those who are over 70 years old, people in close contact with people over 80, medical and nursing personnel, the police, homeless people and refugees living in refugee centers, as well as the staff there. In the third group are for example people over 60, those with serious and chronic illnesses, employees in pharmacies and transport as well as educators and teachers. Those eligible for vaccination will be informed about their appointments. The Federal Minister of Health, Jens Spahn, signed the according vaccination decree on Friday.
