Corona: Who can still be together?

To prevent the corona virus from spreading from person to person, legal rules have also been in place in Baden-Württemberg for private living for the past two weeks. At most, members of a household or two people who do not live in the same household may be together in public spaces. Anyone who does not adhere to these restrictions on residence will be fined 100 to 1,000 euros per person. In general, no more than five people may meet in a private room. The state government of Baden-Württemberg has exempted this maximum number of people who are related to each other “in a straight line”. These include, for example, parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren. Larger groups of people who live together in a domestic community are also excluded. The fine for violations of this regulation is between 250 euros and 1,000 euros per participating person. These consequences result from the third ordinance amending the Corona Ordinance of March 28, 2020, which applies starting Sunday March 29, 2020, and the catalog of fines for administrative offenses under the Infection Protection Act in connection with the Corona Ordinance.
