Employees who have a cold do not need to go to the doctor’s office in order to receive sick leave till the first week of May. They can get a doctor’s note after simply calling their doctor. This was announced by Josef Hecken, the chairman of the federal committee responsible for health care. This special regulation regarding Corona, which was introduced on 20th March, has now been extended until 4th of May.
