Emergency childcare for more children

According to the regulations of the state of Baden-Württemberg which is meant to protect against the corona epidemic, kindergartens, day care centers and other childcare facilities are closed. Since then, very few parents have been allowed to send their children to day care centers, day care, primary schools and secondary schools for “emergency childcare”. From 27th April, children will be allowed to go into “emergency care” if both parents or the single parent have to be present at their place of work and “are considered indispensable”. The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Baden-Württemberg announced this on 20th April 2020. Another development is that seventh grade students can also get emergency care now. If you want to give your children emergency childcare, you need to get a signed confirmation from your employer. The city of Tübingen will make a form available for download from 21st April at www.tuebingen.de/corona-notbetreuung.
