The branches of the Tübingen public library close each year during the school holidays. Starting Monday, 2nd August and going until Monday, 13th September (inclusive), the branches in Derendingen, Waldhäuser-Ost and Wanne are closed. The return box in Derendingen can also not be used during this time. The main library in Tübingen will be open continuously during the holidays. If you want to borrow books, DVDs for bad weather, travel guides or audio books for long drives before the holidays, you can use the extended opening times in the Derendingen and Waldhäuser-Ost branches on Friday, 29th July and Saturday, 30th July.
