Schools in the district of Tübingen will start their Christmas holidays earlier than others. They are using movable holidays so that students can have the Christmas week off. The schools in and around Tübingen and Mössingen decided long ago that the last day of school will be on Friday, December 18th. Now, this is also applicable to the schools in and around Rottenburg as well. There, the holidays will similarly start on December 18th. In other cities and districts of Baden-Württemberg, however, the new holiday regulation by the state government will apply. There, classes will operate until and including Tuesday, December 22nd.
