Mandatory mask-wearing in refugee accommodations starting March 1st

Starting Monday, March 1st, the wearing of a medical mouth-nose-covering is mandatory in the refugee accommodations in the district of Tübingen. FFP2-masks, KN95-masks or surgical masks have to be worn. This regulation applies to all common rooms, in the kitchen, the hallway, the stairwell, the washroom facilities and in the offices of the janitor and the social worker. A medical mask also has to be worn outside, if the minimum distance of 1.5 meters can’t be followed. The mask-wearing is not mandatory in one’s own room, except if someone from the outside, such as a janitor, a social worker or a craftsperson, enters the room. For children between the ages of six and 14, a community mask is sufficient.
