Baden-Württemberg is now joining the neighbouring states of Bavaria and Hesse: From Monday, 27th April, customers will have to cover their mouths and noses while shopping and using public transport. This was declared by Minister President Winfried Kretschmann at a press conference on Tuesday. Simple self-made protective masks will suffice. Those who do not have a mask can also use a scarf or cloth. Whether small children should also cover their mouths and noses has yet to be clarified, said the Minister President. The distance of 1.5 meters to other people must still be maintained.
