Meeting more people, fewer tests, in-person classes

In the District of Tübingen, the number of people infected with corona is sinking and has steadily been below the limit of 50. Consequently, there will be further relaxations starting Monday, May 31st, as the Tübingen District Office announced. Now, ten people from three different households can meet in private. Children from these households under the age of 14, recovered and fully vaccinated people don’t count. Shopping is again possible without appointment. A test is not required anymore for retail. Contact information also don’t have to be left anymore. Before visiting a restaurant or pub, guests have to get tested. The gastronomy has to close at 9 p.m. Libraries, museums, botanical gardens and galleries can open, but have to record their visitors’ contact information. A negative test or proof of recovery or vaccination are no longer necessary. Students can go back to in-person learning in their schools after the Pentecost holidays. There is no longer a distance requirement at vocational and secondary schools.
