More guests allowed at meetings and parties

There are further relaxations with the new corona decrees. The new rules apply from Monday, 28th June, onwards. This was announced by the Tübingen District Office. There is a new limit of 10 infected per 100.000 residents within a week (7-day-incidence). If the incidence is below this number within five consecutive days, more things will be possible again – especially in private. Up to 25 people from an unlimited number of households can now meet in private. Recovered and fully vaccinated don’t count. Private parties such as weddings or birthdays can now be celebrated with up to 300 guests without masks, as long as it’s outdoors. 300 guests are also allowed indoors, however, they have to be fully vaccinated, recovered or tested. Public events (theater, concerts, city festivals, flea markets) are possible with 1500 visitors outdoors. Of there are more than 300 guests, masks have to be worn. A maximum of 500 people is allowed in closed spaces. There is no longer a limit on visitors to theme parks, swimming pools, extracurricular education (for example Volkshochschulen and cultural institutions such as museums and archives), restaurants, bars and pubs. There, guests also don’t have to show proof of vaccination, recovery or a test anymore. However, all these things only continue to apply if the number of infected per 100.000 residents remains under the limit of 10 within five consecutive days. If the number rises above 10, the district will have to revoke these relaxations.
