Starting October 17th in the district of Tübingen: events with more than 100 people forbidden

In the district of Tübingen, many people are currently infected with the corona-virus. The administrative district office has consequently taken measures to stop a further spread. These apply from Saturday, October 17th and onwards. The administrative district office therefore forbids “events of all kinds” with more than 100 attendees. Events which don’t surpass this number are allowed under certain conditions. One of these is that the host has to establish and follow a hygiene concept according to the county’s corona-rules. For example, they have to make sure that the guests follow the hygiene and distance rules, record the contact data of all attendees and give them a fixed seat. Sporting events, choir practices or general meeting are all examples of events which have to follow these rules. Religious events and funerals can be held as well, as long as they follow these hygiene rules, according to the current regulation by the state government concerning mass, religious gathering and funerals. This was decided by the general decree, written by the administrative district office on October 16th, 2020. The county administration has started a hotline for questions about the general decree and further questions about the corona-virus. It is reachable during the weekend, October 17th and 18th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone number is 07071/207-3600.
