Private gatherings of ten people from three households were only allowed for a short time. The district’s health department is retracting the relaxation, starting Tuesday, March 16th. The reason: It only applies if less than 35 out of 100.000 residents have gotten newly infected with the corona virus in the district of Tübingen within a week. However, this line has been crossed on three consecutive days. Consequently, only five people from two different households can meet again, starting Tuesday. Children under the age of 14 don’t count. If a household “consists of five or more people above the age of 14, this household can meet with one other person not belonging to this household,” states the District Office in a press release. However, the relaxations in retail, sports, culture and art continue to apply. The District Office informs about all changes on the website:
