Stricter corona regulations in Baden-Württemberg starting March 29th

More people are getting infected with the coronavirus in Baden-Württemberg. Because if this, stricter regulations apply, starting Monday, March 29th. This is written in the state’s new corona decree. A new regulation is the mask requirement in the car, if someone who doesn’t belong to the same household is driving along. In this case, everyone has to wear either a medical or a FFP2-mask. A maximum of five people from two households can meet private. Children aged 14 or younger don’t count. In contrast to supermarkets and pharmacies, bookstores are no longer considered stores of everyday use. Because of this, goods can be ordered and then picked up with an appointment. There are different regulations in Downtown Tübingen. There, customers from the District of Tübingen can continue shopping in retail stores, sit outdoors in front of cafés and visit museums, cinemas and theaters. However, they have to get a negative corona rapid test in one of the nine test stations beforehand. The district has extended this pilot project until April 18th. People from other districts can’t take a test on Easter – from Good Friday (Karfreitag) to Easter Monday – and can consequently not get a day ticket for Tübingen.
