The story: A bus full of homeland collectors toured the Tübingen district on Sunday, June 23 2019. In Unterjesingen, Wolfenhausen, Börstingen and Bodelshausen got out: District archivist Wolfgang Sannwald, 14 refugees from the editorial office of tünews INTERNATIONAL, students and researchers of empirical cultural studies, members of KulturGUT eV. They met people who were familiar with their homeland, including Franz-Josef Schnaidt, Andreas Braun, Monika Laufenberg, Kurt Lacher. And they collected: What do those involved in the museum, in the village, in the countryside associate with home? The local population was publicly invited to the approximately one-hour home stops: At 10 a.m. at the Unterjesinger Kelter Museum, at 12 noon at Hans Maier’s cowshed in Wolfenhausen, at 2:30 p.m. in the Börstingen culture station, at 4 p.m. in the Local history collection Bodelshausen. “Doing Heimat”, a project by KulturGUT e.V. and the Tübingen district was funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
