Religious services and ceremonies remain restricted

In Baden-Württemberg, events and other gatherings in churches, mosques, synagogues and the gathering of other religious communities are still fundamentally prohibited. This initially applies until May 3. As an exception to this prohibition, the country permits non-delayable religious ceremonies such as baptisms and marriages. Contact ban extended till May 3rd

The dance in May is canceled. And on May 1st, Labor Day, there will be no demonstrations and rallies either. The reason: Existing contact restrictions are now extended up to and including Sunday, May 3rd. More stores to open

Many stores had to close because of Corona. This rule will now be slightly relaxed. As of April 20th, smaller shops up to 800 square meters, bicycle dealers, car dealerships and bookstores will be the first to open again. As of May 4th, hairdressers may also be allowed to reopen—if they adhere to the hygiene regulations and avoid queues. Large events such as concerts are not allowed until August 31st. School only for graduating classes

Parents in Baden-Württemberg will have to take care of their children at home for a while longer as kindergartens will continue to remain closed for most families. The schools will only be opening gradually. After May 4th, only the classes that are to graduate this year will start attending school. Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann explained the current status on Wednesday. The fourth grades of elementary schools in Baden-Württemberg will have to continue to wait for lessons. Dentists are treating acute and chronic cases

The Ministry of Social Affairs has amended the Corona Ordinance from 9th April. Dentists are now allowed to treat patients in all cases of dental necessity and pain. This means that they are also allowed to ensure that the health of patients with chronic dental diseases does not deteriorate.  In the original version of the regulation, dental practices were only allowed to treat acute emergencies. Corona: Number of infected in the district of Tübingen

On April 1, 2020, just over 800 people in the Tübingen district had tested positive for the COVID 19 virus. The district has a total of about 215,000 residents.
