Many stores had to close because of Corona. This rule will now be slightly relaxed. As of April 20th, smaller shops up to 800 square meters, bicycle dealers, car dealerships and bookstores will be the first to open again. As of May 4th, hairdressers may also be allowed to reopen—if they adhere to the hygiene regulations and avoid queues. Large events such as concerts are not allowed until August 31st. For the time being, gatherings and religious celebrations in churches, mosques and synagogues are also prohibited. This was decided by the Prime Ministers of the federal states and Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday afternoon.
