Children and teenagers with a KreisBonusCard can improve their swimming skills free of charge during the summer holidays. The “Schwimmen für alle Kinder” (Swimming for all children) initiative is offering two dates for swim practice in the Tübingen outdoor pool (Tübinger Freibad). Practice will take place Monday through Friday, for 55 minutes, led by Adrian Wendt. The prerequisite for both courses is that the participants can already perform basic swimming movements. The first course is from August 17th till August 28th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for age group 5-9 and from 11 a.m. till 12 p.m. for age group 10-15 as well as 16+ girls. The second course is from August 31st till September 11thfrom 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. till 12 p.m. for age group 5-9. And for age group 10-15 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. For slightly more confident swimmers, there is a course in the north indoor swimming pool (Hallenbad Nord), which is from August 31st till September 11th. Trainer Aiham Shalgin wants to bring the participants to the bronze degree. Course 1 is Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and course 2 is from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
