At the end of February 2021, the Koblenz Higher Regional Court has sentenced the 44-year-old Syrian Eyad A. to four and a half years imprisonment because of his involvement in torture in Syria. The court found the convict guilty of being complicit in a crime against humanity. Eyad A. fled to Germany, before that he worked for the Syrian secret service. Starting March 8th, 2021, new corona-regulations apply in Baden-Württemberg. Because of this, the District Office Tübingen is relaxing the regulations from this day on. In the District of Tübingen, the seven-day-incidence has been steadily below 50 new infections per 100.000 residents, as the responsible health office has tested. State loosens lockdown gradually
Baden-Württemberg wants to loosen the corona-regulations gradually. This was announced by governor Winfried Kretschmann in the state parliament on Friday. The openings are supposed to happen step by step. The first step will be in effect on Monday, March 8th. The benchmark is the so-called seven-days-incidence, which means the number of new infections with the corona-virus per 100.000 residents within a week.
