Since the corona virus has become more widespread: only two people (except families) are allowed together outside and must keep at least 1.5 meters away from other people. Most people have followed these rules of infection control, enforced by the local police. Those who ignore these rules and get caught run the risk of being fined. Baden-Württemberg has now published a uniform catalog of fines. Here are a few examples: If more than two people meet in public space, everyone involved is fined 100 to 1,000 euros. People who go to a hospital or nursing home that is closed to visitors can expect to pay a fine of 250 to 1,500 euros. Those who continue to operate a hairdressing salon, bar or club against the rules face a fine of 2500 to 5000 euros. Anyone who fails to comply with the rules more than once can be fined up to € 25,000. Minister of the Interior, Thomas Strobl, said on Sunday that following these rules will save lives.
