Zum 1. April 2020 sind Regelungen zum Schutz von Mieterinnen und Mietern in Kraft getreten, die noch bis 30. Juni gelten. Demnach kann ihnen während dieser Zeit nicht wegen ausgefallener Mietzahlungen aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie gekündigt werden. Die Miete wird für diesen Zeitraum allerdings niemandem geschenkt. Es können auch Verzugszinsen entstehen. Mietschulden aus dem Zeitraum vom 1. April bis 30. Juni 2020 müssen bis zum 30. Juni 2022 bezahlt werden, sonst kann den Mietern wieder gekündigt werden. Arbeitsschutz gegen Corona-Infektionen
Die Bundesregierung hat am 20. April allgemeine Standards für den Schutz gegen Corona-Infektionen im Arbeitsleben veröffentlicht. Darin weist die Regierung darauf hin, dass auch in Betrieben ein Mindestabstand von 1,5 Metern einzuhalten ist – in Gebäuden, im Freien und in Fahrzeugen. Betriebsabläufe sollen so organisiert werden, dass die Beschäftigten möglichst wenig direkten Kontakt zueinander haben. Schichtarbeit soll dementsprechend angepasst werden. Niemand soll krank zur Arbeit kommen. Wer während der Arbeit Fieber, Schnupfen, Husten oder Atemprobleme bekommt, soll nach Hause gehen.
