Batool Hadous: eine zweite Heimat gefunden

Der Landrat übergab der 21-Jährigen gebürtigen Syrerin jüngst bei einer Feier zum 50-jährigen Bestehen des Landkreises ihre Einbürgerungs-Urkunde. Die Rottenburgerin stand stellvertretend für alle neu Eingebürgerten aus 94 Nationen auf der Bühne, die in den vergangenen drei Jahren im Kreis Tübingen die deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft erworben hatten. Driving license: probationary period can be extended to four years

Anyone who has passed the driving test is allowed to drive a car. However, the driving license—specifically the class B driving license—is first issued on a probationary basis. This probationary period lasts two years and starts on the day you get your driver’s license. If you are only 17 years old and participate in accompanied driving, the probationary period begins when you receive the so-called test certificate. How newborns become Ukrainian citizens

When a child born to Ukrainian parents is born in Germany, the parents can apply for Ukrainian citizenship for the newborn. To do this, they must submit an application to the consular section of the Ukrainian embassy or consulate abroad. The documents must be presented in person. Foreign language documents require certification by an “Apostille” stamp. They must be translated by a sworn translator authorized to translate into Ukrainian.
