During corona, many people order goods over the internet. Fraudsters exploit this. They send links about the shipping of packages via the short messaging system (SMS). These links lead to fake websites. This way, the criminals want to spread malware or gain access to sensible data, such as passwords or credit card numbers. In the current issue of the international integration ranking, Germany is longer in the top ten. The “Migrant Integration Policy Index” (MIPEX) has measured the integration of migrants in 52 countries for the fifth time. Shopping with day ticket in Tübingen continues

In Tübingen, the project “Open with Safety” resumes on Monday, April 19th. This was announced by the Ministry of Social Affairs Baden-Württemberg. New regulations for schools and day care centers starting April 19th

Starting Monday, April 19th, schools in Baden-Württemberg have rotating classes with compulsory tests for all grades. During class, distance has to be kept and the different learn-groups can’t meet each other. This is written in the state’s new corona-decree. It is in effect until May 16th. Rotating classes can only take place in districts in which less than 200 people got newly infected with the coronavirus on three consecutive days within a week. Fewer contacts and curfew starting April 19th

Baden-Württemberg tightens its corona-regulations, as more and more people are getting infected with the new virus. The regulations go into effect on Monday, April 19th. This is dictated in the state’s new corona-decree. In private, people from one household can now meet with only one other person and their children, if they are younger than 15, from another household.  There is a curfew between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Everyone has to be at home during this time – except if they’re on their way to work, to the doctor’s or a meeting from a religious group. Return from travel only with test and quarantine

Those who travel abroad must take a corona test before returning to Baden-Württemberg. This applies to everyone traveling by plane, no matter which country they’re arriving from. Children who are under six years old don’t have to get tested. The test can be taken 48 hours before departure at the earliest. Those who don’t have a negative test result are not allowed to board the plane. For now, this regulation applies until May 12th. As part of the corona pandemic, domestic violence has risen worldwide. Women and children are affected most often. Consequently, the “Canadian Women’s Foundation” has developed hand gestures, which can save human lives. Gradual increase in the minimum wage 

In 2021 and 2022, the legal minimum wage in Germany will be increased in four stages. In doing so, the German government is following the recommendation made by the Minimum Wage Commission in June 2020.  For 2021, the following applies: the minimum wage will be raised from 9.35 to 9.50 euros gross per hour on January 1, 2021, and then to 9.60 euros on July 1, 2021.
