Starting July 1st, 2020, new regulations to combat the corona pandemic will apply in Baden-Württemberg. People must continue to keep 1.5 meters distance in public spaces. Schools, kindergartens and some other facilities are excluded. If this is not possible, at the very least a mask must be worn over the mouth and nose. (It is not enough to just cover the mouth with the mask!) Covering the mouth and nose is mandatory when using public and tourist passenger transport and at its boarding points. The mask is also prescribed for services in which people come close together. The masks are still expressly prescribed in shopping centers and shops. This is stated in paragraphs 2 and 3 of the ordinance of the state government on infection protection measures against the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus of June 23, 2020.
