Rights of children anchored in German law

Everyone has rights, including children. The children’s rights are anchored in laws. These include the right to equality, to health, to education, to parental care, to privacy and personal honor, to expression of opinion, information and hearing, to protection during war and flight, to protection from exploitation and violence, to play, leisure and rest as well as care for disabled people. The Munich Children’s and Youth Forum, together with the Kultur & Spielraum association, listed out the most important children’s rights. All rights mentioned can be found on the following page: www.richtig-wichtig.org/content/rechte_start.php
