Children from the age of 5 onwards including teenagers with a KreisBonusCard from Rottenburg and the surrounding area can learn to swim free of charge. At the end of the summer vacation, the “Schwimmen für alle Kinder” (Swimming for all children) initiative is offering three courses for beginners in the outdoor pool. The courses are from Monday through Friday, from August 31st till September 4th and from September 7th till September 11th. Each session lasts 55 minutes. The “Schwimmen für alle Kinder” (Swimming for all children) initiative is offering two dates for swim practice in the Tübingen outdoor pool (Tübinger Freibad). Für Kinder, Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene aus Familien mit geringem Einkommen, die zum Beispiel Sozialleistungen vom Jobcenter bekommen, gibt es auch in den Sommerferien Förderung für Nachhilfe. Für viele SchülerInnen war der Unterricht aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie seit März nur eingeschränkt möglich. Nachhilfe in den Sommerferien bietet eine gute Möglichkeit, versäumtes Wissen aufzuholen. Die Kosten für die Nachhilfe werden vom Landratsamt übernommen. Während der Sommerferien ist hierfür auch keine Stellungnahme der Schule erforderlich. The Pixel media workshop has been offering space to learn and relax again since mid-June. Children and adolescents as young as ten years of age can use free WiFi, computer workstations and printers in Pixel.
