There is a lot going on in Tübingen’s old town—at the town festival. It begins on Friday, 14 July, at 5 pm on the market square. On Saturday, 15 July, the free programme starts at 1 pm. The festival ends at 1 am. On both days there will be music of many styles, dance and sport shows as well as artistry for guests of all ages in the alleys and on the squares. A children’s festival is on Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm in the Old Botanical Garden. 32 associations from Tübingen will also be offering German and international food at their stalls in the Old Town—from Arabia to Asia to Latin America.

Due to the city festival, the routes of bus lines 9, 11 and 12 will change. From Friday to Sunday, they will not stop at the Bürgeramt, Krummen Brücke and Haagtor. This has been announced by the city.
