Deutschlandticket: Off to the mobile phone

The Deutschlandticket can only be bought as a classic paper ticket until the end of the year, then it will only be issued as a chip card or mobile phone ticket. However, you can already download the Deutschlandticket to your mobile phone.
Those who want to use the discounted Deutschlandticket for Tübingen residents at a price of 34 euros as a mobile phone ticket are dependent on the “Wohin-Du-willst” app from Naldo. To do this, you first have to register at the Naldo Abocenter (www.abos.naldo.de), then download the app and finally follow the instructions on the homepage:
https://www.naldo.de/fileadmin/media/tickets/faq/19-06-Leitfaden-faq-handyticket-wdwapp.pdf
In essence, it is a matter of activating a confirmation link and entering the app’s retrieval code in good time.
The paper ticket for Germany can also be converted into a mobile ticket on the Naldo site. At www.abos.naldo.de there is a button to manage existing subscriptions.
Anyone who wants to buy the Deutschlandticket without the Tübingen discount as a mobile phone ticket is free to choose among the providers. Deutsche Bahn (www.bahn.de) offers the Deutschlandticket as a mobile phone ticket as well as special providers, such as the app Deutschlandticket (https://deutschlandticket.app), where you can also manage your subscription and switch from paper to mobile phone ticket.
If you have any further questions, the Naldo Abocenter Tübingen at the Tübinger Stadtwerke (Eisenhutstraße 6) is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fridays. Telephone: 07071/157-457, e-mail: abo-tue@naldo.de
