TübIs”, short for “Tübinger Islamgespräche” (Tübingen Islam talks), is an association that campaigns for a differentiated picture of Islam in the public. TübIs’ objective is to strengthen “the democratic life together in diversity”. For this, the association is organizing conference days with presentations, workshops and a panel discussion, which will start on Monday, November 8th, and go until Sunday, November 21st. More and more people are getting infected with the coronavirus – younger people included. Especially patients who have not been vaccinated are filling the intensive care units in hospitals. New corona rules for employees and Christmas markets

Employees working in gastronomy and at events don’t have to wear masks anymore in certain cases, starting Thursday, October 28th. This applies if the business or event uses the 2G rule. With this rule, only fully vaccinated and recovered guests can enter. They don’t need a mask. Furthermore, the employees have to voluntarily give their employer proof of vaccination or recovery. Immigrants wanted for integration council

There is an integration council in Tübingen. It advises the municipal council and the city administration on integration policy issues. The German Red Cross (DRK) Ammerbuch is offering Corona quick tests in Entringen every day in October, according to the DRK. The Tübingen Family Educational Centre (FBS) is offering open intercultural courses free of charge from October onwards. The course “Fit & Fun for the Family” is designed to encourage women to exercise and thus strengthen their health. It also addresses topics such as healthy eating.
