Curfew lifted, meeting with more people

Starting Saturday, May 22nd, the corona regulations are loosened in the District of Tübingen – just in time for the holidays and Pentecost. The number of people infected with corona remains steadily below a certain critical value. Starting Saturday, the curfew between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. has been lifted. This was announced by the Tübingen District Office on its website. Two households with a maximum of five people can again meet in private. Children until the age of 13 (including those), fully vaccinated and recovered don’t count into this number. Retail stores can continue to offer “Click & Meet”. New regulation: stores can let one person per 40 square meter sales area into the shop, with them having an appointment but without prove of a negative test result or of being recovered from corona. Alternatively, they can admit two customers per 40 square meters, without an appoint but with prove of a negative test. Religious events can be visited again without registration. Outdoor theater and cinema are allowed with up to 100 people. Miniature golf courses, high ropes courses and boat rentals can open. Restaurants can serve outdoors, if they follow distance and hygiene rules. Only one customer per 2.5 square meters can be inside between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.
