Train drivers strike again

Due to a strike by train drivers, many trains will be cancelled for 24 hours from 10 pm on Thursday, 7 December. This was announced by the train drivers’ union GdL. This means that there will be massive restrictions throughout the day on Friday, 8 December. According to Deutsche Bahn, there may also be disruptions before and after this time. Long-distance transport in particular will be affected.
Many trains will also be cancelled in the greater Tübingen, Reutlingen and Stuttgart area. The IRE 6, which runs between Aulendorf and Stuttgart and also stops in Tübingen and Reutlingen, will be affected. As the Stuttgart S-Bahn trains are on strike, there will also be no connection with the Ammertalbahn railway via Herrenberg to Stuttgart. Individual trains between Herrenberg and Bad Urach are also cancelled. City buses are not affected. Information can be found on the Deutsche Bahn website and on the DB Navigator:
