The trade union Verdi has announced a nationwide warning strike in local public transport for Friday. In some cities in Germany, there may be considerable restrictions on bus and train services.
In Baden-Württemberg, strikes have been called in Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Heilbronn, Freiburg, Baden-Baden, Esslingen and Constance. Travelers, especially commuters, should check with the respective transport association before setting off.
The naldo transport association will hardly be affected by the strike. In Tübingen and Reutlingen, buses will run as usual.
