The train journey from Tübingen to Stuttgart will be complicated. Between Friday, 22 March at 9 pm and Tuesday after Easter, 2 April at 4.45 am, the line between Wendlingen and Metzingen will be closed. The reason is construction work. There will therefore be restrictions on SWEG lines 6, 12 and 18. Line 6 from Stuttgart to Tübingen will not be running. The trains on line 12 from Heilbronn to Tübingen and line 18 from Osterburken to Tübingen will only run between Stuttgart and Wendlingen and between Metzingen and Tübingen, with a few exceptions. Buses will be used as a replacement. Additional train journeys will also be offered between Stuttgart and Wendlingen and Metzingen and Tübingen. Detailed information can be found on the SWEG website.
