In Baden-Württemberg gibt es ab dem 1. März das Jugendticket für den öffentlichen Nahverkehr (ÖPNV). Damit können junge Leute bis 27 Jahre für 365 Euro im Jahr rund um die Uhr an allen Tagen durch ganz Baden-Württemberg fahren. In Tübingen ist es für SchülerInnen, Auszubildende und Leute, die Freiwilligendienst machen, billiger. Voraussetzung: Sie müssen in Tübingen wohnen und dort zur Schule gehen oder eine Ausbildung beziehungsweise den Freiwilligendienst machen. Die Stadt Tübingen gibt einen Zuschuss. Dann kostet das Jugendticket für TübingerInnen 264 Euro pro Jahr (22 Euro im Monat), wie die Stadtwerke mitteilen.
