Opening hours in Tübingen over the holidays

Shops: This year, all shops will be closed from Christmas Eve Sunday 24 up to and including Tuesday 26 December. They will also be closed on New Year’s Monday, 1 January, and on Epiphany, Saturday, 6 January.
Municipal offices and facilities in Tübingen: They will be closed from Saturday 23 December until New Year’s Day. From Tuesday, 2 January 2024, they will be open again at the usual times.
Tübingen citizens’ office: Only for legal questions about passports or ID cards that cannot be postponed, there will be an on-call service on Thursday, 28 December, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on telephone 07071 / 204-0.
Immigration office: Urgent matters relating to residence law, especially when travelling, can be clarified on Thursday, 28 December, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. by calling 07071 / 204-2550.
Exceptions and emergency services are listed at www.tuebingen.de/feierrtagsregelung. There you will find information on deaths, for example, as well as the opening hours of the administrative offices in the city districts, the city library, the museums and the cultural centre.
Stadtwerke: The Tübingen Stadtwerke customer centre will be open for the last time on Friday, 22 December, until 1 pm. It will then be closed until Monday, 1 January 2024. Fault reports can be made at any time: for natural gas call 07071 / 157-112, for electricity and others call 07071 / 157-111.
TüBus: On Thursday and Friday, 21 and 22 December, the buses will already be running according to the “school-free” timetable.
