Easter is just around the corner and with it a long weekend. Good Friday, March 29, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, March 31 and April 1, are public holidays in Germany. All stores are closed on these public holidays and the authorities are closed. So if you still have to do your shopping for the egg hunt or Easter dinner, you should hurry. However, you can still do your shopping on Saturday. From Tuesday, all stores and public authorities will be open again as normal.
