الفقر رغم العمل بدوام كامل: العنصرية تزيد من خطر الفقر

Works council: support in the workplace

Works councils are there to represent the interests of the workforce in a company. The committee has a say in many decisions in the company—for example, overtime regulations. Diskriminierung gefährdet die Demokratie

Immer mehr Menschen wenden sich wegen Diskriminierung an die Antidiskriminierungsstelle des Bundes. 2023 waren es 10.772 Betroffene – 22 Prozent mehr als im Jahr davor. Die meisten Anfragen, rund 3400, betrafen rassistische Diskriminierung. Das waren 41 Prozent aller Anfragen an das Beratungsteam (2022: 43 Prozent). Die Fachleute der Antidiskriminierungsstelle können unter anderem über Möglichkeiten zum rechtlichen Vorgehen informieren. „Ausländer-Raus“-Stimmung und Menschenverachtung seien „normal geworden“: Das sagte Ferda Ataman, bei der Präsentation des Jahresberichts in Berlin. ECJ: Possible new refugee protection for women as a “social group”
