How to find a doctor who speaks Ukrainian? Or at least Russian? The Techniker-Krankenkasse (TK) offers a search function on its homepage that makes it possible to find doctors in a specific region and specialty who have special language skills. The offer of the statutory health insurance is free of charge.
For example, if you are looking for a general practitioner who speaks Ukrainian, you will only find one in the region in Reutlingen. In Tübingen, meanwhile, there are three general practitioners with knowledge of Russian. There are special searches for every specialty, from ophthalmologists to dentists. In addition to German, Ukrainian and Russian, the search engine allows users to search for 40 other languages.
