New project aims to prepare LGBT*IQ refugees for the world of work

A network of 250 large companies has launched a new mentoring programme to prepare LGBT*IQ refugees for entering the world of work. The programme aims to give them access to new employment opportunities. The term LGBT*IQ covers people with same-sex or bisexual orientation as well as transgender, intersex and queer identities. Rechtskreiswechsel für ukrainische Geflüchtete bleibt umstritten

Der Landrat des Kreises Tübingen Joachim Walter wiederholte seine Kritik am sogenannten Rechtskreiswechsel für ukrainische Geflüchtete anlässlich des Besuchs von Ministerpräsident Winfried Kretschmann bei der Redaktion von tünews INTERNATIONAL am 16. August im Landratsamt Tübingen. Mit Rechtskreiswechsel ist gemeint, dass Geflüchtete aus der Ukraine seit Juni Sozialleistungen nach dem Sozialgesetzbuch II erhalten. Zuvor bekamen sie geringere Leistungen nach dem Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz. „Wir stellen teilweise fest, dass auch Fehlanreize gesetzt werden“, so Walter. Wohngeld-BezieherInnen erhalten Zuschuss zu Heizkosten

Die Kosten für Energie steigen und belasten vor allem Menschen mit geringem Einkommen. Das Land Baden-Württemberg will BezieherInnen von Wohngeld unterstützen. Am 1. September bekommen sie einen einmaligen Zuschuss zu den Heizkosten. Der Zuschuss steigt mit der Größe des Haushalts. Wer allein lebt und Wohngeld bezieht, erhält 270 Euro. Haushalte mit zwei Personen bekommen 350 Euro. Für jedes weitere Mitglied des Haushalts gibt es jeweils 70 Euro. Das Geld wird automatisch ohne Antrag ausgezahlt. أمل جديد للأشخاص الذين ينتظرون الحصول على تصريح إقامة
